Muddy Moose started with two people, one very adventurous German Wirehaired Pointer, and a growing realization: apparently, dogs believe getting filthy is a personality trait.

Between our adventures with Moose and more than 15 years of experience in the veterinary industry, we’ve seen plenty of dogs get muddy, wet, dirty, and gloriously stinky. We loved the adventure, but we didn’t love what came after. Most dog-cleaning products seemed determined to cover the smell with a cloud of perfume and call it a day.

We wanted something different. Products made for real dogs who actually do dog things—get muddy, swim in questionable water, roll in things they absolutely should not roll in, and come home smelling like they’ve been negotiating with a swamp.

So we created Muddy Moose: hardworking products for adventurous dogs and the humans who love them enough to clean them up afterward.
